The Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) mentioned on August 24 that it seized $19,500 from a crypto wallet that was getting used to fund a Russian group, in accordance to a press release.

According to the discharge, the company carried out a mechanism to establish and block wallets elevating funds for the Russian military.

Intelligence gathering led to the arrest of a Russian collaborator who reportedly held $19,500 in a wallet for the invading military. The volunteer raised the funds by social media campaigns soliciting help from Russian supporters.

Further investigation revealed that the proceeds have been used to buy navy tools for the separatist fighters within the area of Luhansk and Donetsk.

The safety company acknowledged it can proceed its hunt towards Russian collaborators serving to fund the continuing warfare towards Ukraine.

Russia obtained over $2.2 million

A current research by Chainalysis revealed that 54 organizations throughout Russia obtained over $2.2 million to fund their operations.

Volunteer teams took to social media to crowdfund help for the acquisition of navy gadgets and unfold propaganda concerning the warfare. The pro-Russian teams spent a lot of the funds on gadgets like drones, weapons, bulletproof vests, and communication units.
