Publishing principles
The source stays visible. The hype stays out.
These standards govern how stories are selected, attributed, summarised and corrected—and how editorial work is kept separate from commercial relationships.
Crypto News Today · London editionRelevance before noise
Story priority is based on consequence, reader value, source quality and the strength of the available evidence. Price movement alone is not treated as proof of a narrative. Paid relationships do not determine which story appears or where it is ranked.
Primary documents where possible
Company filings, regulator notices, court documents, protocol publications and attributable first-party statements are preferred when available. Secondary reporting is named and linked. Anonymous claims should not be presented as confirmed fact without sufficient corroboration.
Summarise; do not substitute
A CNT briefing must add useful context rather than imitate or replace the original article. Quotes, images and data are used only when there is a lawful basis and are credited. Readers are given a direct, clearly labelled route to the underlying source.
Tools can monitor. They cannot invent.
Software may be used to monitor RSS feeds, retrieve market prices, structure a draft or check formatting. It must not fabricate a quote, source, transcript, author or first-hand experience. Market data is labelled with its provider and can be delayed or unavailable.
No promises about returns
Headlines should describe the evidence without manufacturing urgency or certainty. News, analysis and advertising are distinct. Crypto News Today does not provide personalised investment advice, price targets or guarantees.
Errors are corrected transparently
Material factual errors should be corrected on the relevant page, with a clear note when the change affects the meaning of the story. Challenges can be submitted through the official @cryptonewshq account on X until a verified domain mailbox is connected.
